The Reading Circle class is designed to promote self-selected reading, critical thinking, and reading comprehension. Students will typically read three books together as a class, and one individually. So in this class we learn new ways to appreciate food by deep diving on a few specific foods (like sushi, butter, frozen vegetables, and oysters) and learning about foods and ways of eating that are native to the US, but that we likely have never heard of.
