Photographic Media I

This course is intended for students to gain an understanding of photographic and digital media, as well as moving image. Students will design and create original works using a variety of dynamic graphic and audiovisual software in order to develop digital visual communication skills. These skills will be directly applicable to students who desire to pursue higher level photographic or digital media practices at an industrial or postgraduate level. Furthermore, this course will serve to directly meet the 21st century technology and literacy skills expectations, deliver a general introduction to the field of photographic and digital media and is one of the most employable fields in the modern economy.
