Imaging-Design II Photoshop Practice 6

Michael Ford

Updated: Feb 28, 2022

On Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 we were informed for this project that we are an in-house designer for a printing company, so our client is the new accounts manager, who is pitching our companies new large format printing services to a potential customer. She asked us to morph an existing sample ad onto a number of different photos to help promote the company's new "Advertise Anywhere!" services. This project incorporated the following skills:

  1. Patching a photo to remove unwanted elements

  2. Replacing colors in a photo to change the appearance of an object

  3. Using adjustment layers to change hue/saturation for specific objects

  4. Adjusting an image's shadows and highlights to correct bad lighting

  5. Transforming a layer using one- and two-point perspective

  6. Warping a layer around irregular, non flat surfaces

  7. Applying lighting effects to unify composite images
